What information we collect

MyHUB-Anytime does not use cookies but we may collect the following personal information when you contact us:

Where that information is stored

Personal information is stored on our database of Clients.

We are committed to ensuring that your information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, cyber and managerial security procedures to safeguard and secure any information we collect. Data is not shared outside our Companies.

How long is the information stored?

The information is stored for as long as we are in communication with you regarding a specific line of enquiry. Once an enquiry becomes inactive, we will delete it after one year.

Using the My Translator on the App

We have added a translation function for you on the App called “My Translator” which can be accessed from the top of the home page menu. This function is provided by Google, specifically their Cloud Translation or Cloud Natural Language Application Interface Programming, “API”.

When you use this function, the App will prompt you to take a photo or screen shot of the document you wish to be translated into a different language. A pop-up box will ask you to provide your Consent to access your photos. Without this consent, the document cannot be translated. If you provided your Consent previously, for example to upload your profile photo, then the Consent pop-up box will not appear. Your Consent is stored in the settings of the application on your device. You can go to your Settings on your device to turn permissions on/off.

The MyTranslate function recognises the English text on the photo and sends it to the Cloud Translation API which returns the image translated into the selected language to your device.

No data is captured or retained by the QG HR app nor Google.

Google may retain some analytical data such as the timing and size of the file to be translated in order to improve their service or combat abuse, but no data is retained.

For more information, see Google’s Privacy Policy at the link below. If you decide to withdraw consent which was previously granted for access to your photos, please follow the instructions as set out in the Google Privacy Policy.
